What’s Holding You Back From Radiant Health?

I could stop almost anyone on the street and get the same answer about what creates good health. I’m willing to bet that everyone would list some variation of: get good sleep, eat healthy foods like fruits, vegetables, and protein, and exercise often. It sounds so simple. And honestly, it kind of is simple. But here’s the thing. I’m also willing to bet that almost anyone I stopped on that same street would share that they’re not particularly satisfied with their health.

Unfortunately, in the United States, despite great advancements in science, technology, and medicine, people get sicker and sicker every year due to chronic lifestyle diseases. Obesity, heart disease, and diabetes rates are skyrocketing. Over seventy five percent of Americans are overweight or obese, and this problem is not going away. In fact, it’s just getting worse.

Even though most Americans know what healthy people generally do, they struggle to do it themselves. Can you relate? Do you know that you should be eating more vegetables, drinking more water, or cutting back on your alcohol intake? Do you know that the cookies you eat every afternoon are not supporting your health but eat them anyway? If so, you’re not alone, and you’re not a bad person.

It can feel so hard to make healthy choices in this processed food-obsessed, sugar-crazed, and fast-paced world. There’s a lot working against us when it comes to our health, but there’s also SO much we can do to take back control, create new routines, and establish new habits that will support our long-term radiance, energy, and vitality.

If you feel stuck, frustrated, or curious about your health, it is the perfect time to consider working with a health coach. We all basically know what to do to be healthy, but how to make it work with a busy schedule, demanding job, or big family can be challenging. Having a partner in wellness can be a turning point that leads to a lifetime of improved mood, weight, and life satisfaction because health coaches personalize recommendations and support to your exact situation. I provide counsel, strategies, and ongoing text and email support between appointments to hold my clients accountable and troubleshoot tough moments. Sometimes, in busy seasons of life, supporting our health can just feel like one more thing to manage, and it helps to have someone to guide you through it. Our health is our greatest asset in life. Without it, nothing works. Make the decision to make time for your wellness so you aren’t forced to make time for an illness.

XO,

Kara
